Stonebwoy Featured on Sean Paul’s Grammy-Nominated Album Live N Livin

Multi-award-winning Jamaican dancehall artist Sean Paul released his seventh studio album, Live N Livin, on March 12, 2021, with a central theme of promoting unity and collaboration within the Dancehall genre. The album, which was created to showcase that dancehall is thriving, features over twenty artists, from veterans like Buju Banton and Mavado to rising stars.

A notable highlight of the project is the inclusion of Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artist Stonebwoy, who is the only non-Jamaican artist featured on the album.

Stonebwoy contributes his vocals to the track:

  • “Guns of Navarone (Remix)”
  • Also features: Jesse Royal and Mutabaruka

Sean Paul noted that Stonebwoy was a clear choice for the collaboration, stating, “Stonebwoy, very talented artist from Ghana who always pay homage to the dancehall genre, and visits the island of Jamaica. It was clear to me when he stated he wanted to be a part of this project I could not say no.”12

The 16-track album, produced under Sean Paul’s Dutty Rock Productions and distributed by ONErpm, successfully achieved its goal of highlighting the vitality of dancehall and was subsequently nominated for Best Reggae Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.
