American rapper and international star Meek Mill experienced a setback during his otherwise “lit” Christmas visit to Ghana when he revealed on Instagram that his phone had been pickpocketed.
The rapper, who headlined the Afro Nation concert in Accra on December 29, 2022, took to social media to share the unfortunate incident, posting: “They pickpocketed me for my phoneeeeeee SMH… Bring that Jawn back if you got it!!!” It is unclear where the theft occurred, but sources indicate it may have happened while he was mobbed by fans on his turbulent commute to the venue.
Despite the incident, Meek Mill did not let it ruin his experience. He successfully performed his set that night and continued to enjoy the festivities, partying at a popular Accra club until the early hours of the morning.
