Ogidi Brown Laments Being Duped by ‘Fake’ Pastors and Mallams for Healing

Ghanaian musician and CEO of OGB Records, Ogidi Brown, has openly discussed the painful experience of being consistently deceived by various ‘fake’ pastors and Mallams who falsely promised to heal his condition, costing him millions of cedis.

In an exclusive interview on Celebrity Vibes Hour with Ebo Safo, Ogidi Brown, who has used a wheelchair since a severe spinal cord injury sustained in a car accident in Italy in 2015, explained that these spiritualists convinced him they could help him walk again. However, after six years, no prophet has been able to cure his condition.

He revealed that in his desperate quest for healing, he not only sought spiritual help but also visited several top medical centers both in Ghana and abroad, all to no avail.

Ogidi Brown, who had previously lamented spending over €30,000 Euros on these false promises, shared the emotional toll the experience has taken:

“Life has been tough for me in the wheelchair. I used to stress myself a lot, trying to find places where I could be healed and walk again. But now, I have given up and accepted my current state,” he said.
