Kendrick Lamar & Lady Gaga Lead 2026 Grammy Nominees

The Recording Academy has unveiled the nominations for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, setting the stage for a monumental night on February 1, 2026.

Kendrick Lamar dominates the field with nine nominations for his critically acclaimed album GNX, marking the second consecutive year he has led the pack. Close behind is Lady Gaga, who earned seven nods for Mayhem, her widely praised return to electro-pop.

This year’s nominations are particularly historic for both the Rap and K-Pop genres:

  • Rap Dominance: For the first time in Grammy history, three rap albums are competing for Album of the Year: Kendrick Lamar’s GNX, Tyler, The Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA, and the comeback album Let God Sort Em Out by Clipse.
  • K-Pop Milestone: K-Pop has officially broken into the “Big Three” general field categories. Two songs are vying for Song of the Year: the global viral hit “APT.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars, and “Golden” by Huntr/x, featured in Netflix’s K-Pop Demon Hunters.
