RNAQ Foundation Food Bank extends to Techiman

Ghanaian entrepreneur Richard Nii Armah Quaye (RNAQ) has extended his nationwide philanthropic mission to the Bono East Region with the official opening of a free food bank in the Techiman Metropolis.
The facility, which allows residents in need to eat at no cost, was inaugurated by a delegation led by Quick Angel Limited CEO Emmanuel Lamptey, representing Mr. Quaye. This launch marks the thirteenth branch established since the organization began its operations on August 1, 2025, reflecting a rapid and aggressive strategy to combat food insecurity across Ghana.
During the ceremony, Lamptey reiterated Quaye’s personal commitment to using his resources to eliminate hunger, noting that the Techiman branch is designed to provide immediate relief to vulnerable families.
By removing the daily burden of food costs, the foundation aims to help local residents redirect their savings toward essential needs like healthcare and education.
The initiative has received significant praise from local leadership, with Nana Kwame Brafi, representing the King of Techiman, Nana Akumfi Ameyaw IV, describing the food bank as a “splendid service” and calling on the community to help maintain the facility for the long term.
