Bayern Munich Captain Manuel Neuer Extends Contract Through 2024

Bayern Munich goalkeeper and captain Manuel Neuer has signed a one-year contract extension, committing his future to the club until June 30, 2024. The extension was officially announced on May 23, 2022.
Neuer, 36, has been a defining figure for the German giants since joining from Schalke in 2011. He has made 472 competitive appearances for the club

- Trophies: During his tenure at the Allianz Arena, the Germany captain has won an impressive 10 successive Bundesliga titles and lifted the Champions League trophy twice, in 2013 and 2020.
- Club Praise: Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn lauded the player, stating, “Manuel is one of the defining figures in the history of FC Bayern. It is a tremendous achievement to be able to deliver world-class performances so consistently over such a long period of time.”
Neuer is the second long-serving Bayern star to renew his contract in May 2022, as fellow Germany international Thomas Müller had also extended his deal until 2020.
