This historic moment occurred during the Los Angeles Lakers’ pre-season loss to the Phoenix Suns, specifically in the second quarter, coinciding with Bronny’s 20th birthday. LeBron, who scored 19 points in the game, called the experience “surreal.”
Bronny, a second-round pick entering the league from USC, went scoreless in his 13 minutes, contributing two rebounds.
The 39-year-old veteran had recently signed a new contract with the Lakers, allowing him to play alongside his son as he enters his 22nd season. The regular 2024-25 NBA season is scheduled to begin on October 22.
