King Promise Reveals Parental Pressure to Start a Family Amid Career Success

King Promise, the reigning Telecel Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year, recently opened up about the growing pressure from his parents to start a family.
During an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, the singer shared that his parents have become increasingly vocal about wanting a grandchild, often teasing him by referencing the children featured in his music videos.
Despite this family nudge, the artist maintains that he is still navigating his life and career as a young man and does not feel that the timing is currently right for marriage or children.
Reflecting on his personal growth, King Promise noted that his criteria for a life partner have evolved beyond simple physical attraction to a deeper, more intuitive connection. He emphasized that he now prioritizes a genuine bond over outward appearances, though he remains focused on his immediate professional commitments for the time being.
As he prepares for his upcoming Promised Land concert on December 30, 2025, at Ghud Park, he reassures his fans and family that while he plans to settle down eventually, he is taking his time to ensure the transition happens at the right stage of his life.
