Ghanaian musician Kwesi Arthur shared details about his relationship with socialite and actress Efia Odo, defending her bold social media presence in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM (circa December 2020).
When asked about his thoughts on Efia Odo’s often revealing posts on social media, the musician suggested that people should be free to live their lives however they choose, invoking the popular mantra: “You only live once.”
The then-reigning VGMA Rapper of the Year (an award he won in August 2020) described Efia Odo as a “lovely person.” He noted that despite years of speculation about a romantic relationship, he truly appreciated her for her unwavering support of his music.
Speaking on her bold and provocative style, the “Woara” hitmaker described Efia Odo as a lovely person, noting that he appreciates her because she consistently supports his music without hesitation, and for that, he is thankful.
This interview took place while rumors of a relationship between the two were at their peak (2018–2021). The dynamic between the two later shifted dramatically, culminating in a public fallout in August 2024, where Kwesi Arthur threatened legal action over Efia Odo’s continued comments about their past on podcasts.
