The public feud between Dancehall artist Shatta Wale and his former manager Bullgod escalated dramatically when Shatta Wale accused Bullgod of pimping women for a former President of Ghana.
The explosive accusation was made on Shatta Wale’s Facebook page on October 31, 2022 (as part of a wider spat where Shatta Wale denied Bullgod was ever his manager). Shatta Wale posted:
“Ghana will know when you said a former president sends you to bring him girls.”
The statement caused an immediate stir, with public opinion divided between those who criticized Shatta Wale for dragging a high-profile political figure into a private feud.
Bullgod’s Response and Legal Threat
Addressing the highly damaging allegations on Daybreak Hitz, Bullgod stated that while he had not heard from the former President directly, sources close to the ex-President’s camp had expressed deep concern about the situation.
Bullgod emphasized his personal relationship with the former President and stated his intent to protect the politician’s reputation. Crucially, he noted his intention to take legal steps to protect his own image from the defamation caused by the allegations.
Bullgod also pointed out that this was not the first time Shatta Wale had made such accusations, recalling similar claims made by the musician around 2015–2016 during previous disagreements.
