Fatal Head-on Collision on Techiman-Tuobodom Highway Kills Five

A fatal head-on collision between a truck and a bus occurred on the Techiman-Tuobodom highway in the Bono East Region early Wednesday morning, resulting in five deaths.
The National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) confirmed the incident, reporting that 15 passengers were injured, with some in critical condition. The injured are currently receiving treatment at the Techiman Holy Family Hospital, and the bodies of the deceased have been transported to the hospital’s mortuary, according to Emmanuel Achemapong-Parry, NRSA’s Regional Head for Bono East.
The incident was also verified by the Regional Police Commander for the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), Chief Superintendent Oppong Asirifi, who confirmed that the police are still gathering detailed information regarding the crash.
