Rare footage has surfaced online showing Ghanaian media personality and news anchor Serwaa Amihere studying from a hospital bed, offering a poignant glimpse into the intense dedication required to achieve her goal of becoming a lawyer.
The video, shared on social media, shows the former GHOne TV host immersed in legal textbooks and working late into the night, balancing her rigorous legal studies with periods of ill health, and being supported by close friends.
Serwaa Amihere was officially called to the Ghana Bar on October 10, 2025, marking a successful culmination of years of study pursued alongside her demanding professional career.
Her Academic Journey:
- 2013: Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Finance from Methodist University College.
- 2022: Earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with second-class upper honours from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
- 2023: Gained admission to the Ghana School of Law.
At the call to the Bar ceremony held at the Accra International Conference Centre, Serwaa was celebrated by members of the General Legal Council, the judiciary, prominent legal scholars, and friends from the media and entertainment industries, including actress Fella Makafui.
